If using fresh strawberries, wash them gently under cool running water. Remove the green hulls and slice the strawberries into small pieces. If using frozen strawberries, make sure they are thawed and slightly softened.
Place the sliced strawberries in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and pureed. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, pour the cold heavy cream. Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat the cream until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat.
Add the sweetened condensed milk to the whipped cream and beat just to combine.
Add strawberry puree, some chopped strawberries(optional) and one drop of pink food color ( optional). blend until combined.
Pour the ice cream mixture into a shallow container or loaf pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Cover the container with plastic wrap or a lid to prevent ice crystals from forming.Place the container in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
Once the ice cream is frozen, it's ready to be enjoyed! Scoop the strawberry ice cream into bowls or cones and serve. You can also add toppings like fresh sliced strawberries, chocolate sauce, or whipped cream for extra decadence.

Notes
Note: If the ice cream becomes too hard in the freezer, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before serving.
