Ingredients

For graham cracker layer

  • ¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

For strawberry layer

  • ½ cup chopped strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

For cream cheese layer

  • 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • few strawberries for garnishing

Instructions

  • Begin by chopping fresh strawberries and placing them in a bowl. Add a tablespoon of sugar, mix well, and set aside.
  • Crush the graham crackers in a Ziploc bag until they turn into fine crumbs, then mix them thoroughly with melted butter.
  • In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until it forms stiff peaks. Then, gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • To assemble the dessert, start by layering: add 1-2 tablespoons of the graham cracker crumbs as the base, followed by a layer of the chopped strawberries, and then the cream cheese mixture. Repeat these layers.
  • Once layered, chill the dessert in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
